Sorry it has been so long since my last post.

Things have been a bit crazy around here.

We are VERY pleased to announce

that our family will be growing to the #7 in August!

Thats right we are having a BABY!

The Boys are on Christmas Break now...Which means staying up late, sleeping in,

making big beds in the living room, and sledding just to name a few.

On November 11th Kayleb and the Scouts had the opportunity to participate in the Remembrance Day Ceremonies here in town.

Handsome in his uniform.

The Scouts join, RCMP, Firemen, Rangers, and Cadets in a "March".

A short program of musical and poetic tributes to the many men and women that have, and are currently sacrificing so much for our freedoms.

Following the program the "march" continued as the public joined the procession and made their way through town to the Cenotaph at the park. A ceremony including trumpet music and members and groups from the community placed wreaths on the Cenotaph,

After the program in the park the Procession proceeded to the friendship centre for refreshments and visiting.

This was our first year participating as a family. We really enjoyed the experience. Sharing this special day with our special community was awesome.

Luke is growing a "Wild Mustachio" in Support of "Movember"

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in Canada and around the world. With their “Mo’s”, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer. On Movember 1st, guys start with a clean-shaven face. For the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Movember Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo-growing efforts. Mo Bros effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November. Through their actions and words, they raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health. At the end of the month, Mo Bros and Mo Sistas celebrate their gallantry and valor by either throwing their own Movember party or attending one of the infamous Gala Partés held around the world by Movember, for Movember. We are excited to support Movember this year. Several men in our church congregation are participating. The local support is being headed up by our friend Mike Hurren. Halloween was so much fun this year. Last monday we hosted a party with some of our friends. We all dressed up and played some fun games and ate some yummy treats. Then tonight we went to the Trunk-or-Treat at the chuch. Then Trick-or-Treated around town, and went to the Pumpkin Walk. Topped it all off with some lovely fireworks and came home to snuggle in to our warm beds. Hope you all had a Happy Halloween! We sure did!

This year our family chose to do a "Theme".

Star Wars seemed like a good choice so Voila!

So Luke and I LOVE Big Hunk Bars, Which you can not buy in Canada. Sad, I know! So with my recent addiction to Pintrest I started to "pin" candy recipes... Now I have decided to start actually use some of these recipes. I made "Butterfingers" this week and LOVED them! Now to try the "Big Hunk"

Only problem is that the recipe calls for marshmallow cream that is insanely expensive here so I found a recipe for that too.
Wish me luck!

"Cheat Method"

Simply put the marshmallow in a large microwave bowl. 7 ounces of marshmallows or mini-marshmallows either one would equal 7 ounces of marshmallow cream.

Substitutions:
marshmallow creme = marshmallow fluff = Gently heat 16 ounces of marshmallows plus 1/4 cup corn syrup in a double boiler, stirring constantly; 10 large marshmallows = 1 C miniature marshmallows.

Start by heating the marshmallows a few seconds at a time, stirring. Not so much to heat them but to slightly melt. gently. Stir in the corn syrup. You will end up with marshmallows creme just like the recipes call for & just like the jar of marshmallow creme from the store.

Or a "from Scratch version"
Ingredients
2 egg whites
1 cup corn syrup
4 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 tablespoon vanilla

Directions
1Beat first four ingredients together over hot water for 7 minutes.
2Add vanilla and beat until cool.

or:

Homemade Marshmallow Fluff/Cream

Ingredients:

3 egg whites, room temperature
2 cups light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt2 cups sifted powdered (confectioner's) sugar
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

Preparation:

In a large bowl of an electric mixer, add egg whites, corn syrup, and salt.

Using your electric mixer on high speed, mix for approximately 5 minutes or until the mixture is thick and volume has almost doubled.

On low speed, add powdered sugar and mix until well blended. Add vanilla extract just until well blended.

Your homemade marshmallow fluff/cream is now ready to use in your recipes. Use immediately, or refrigerate in a covered container for up to 2 weeks.

Makes a large quantity.

Can't wait to try it!

We have awesome friends to camp with and really enjoyed using our tent trailer for the first time. My project for today.

I got the crib out the other day

to set up, but i noticed that it had some
peeling paint from being in storage.

Cub Car Rally

Kayleb choose to do a "Hummvee" design.
He helped cut it out, sand it, paint it, stencil
on the camo and stick the decals his dad
designed on it. It turned out Pretty Sweet!
His car did not turn out to be the most speedy,

Big Belly

Summer at 33 weeks Prego.
Had an Ultrasound again on Friday,
Emmett is already 5lbs!
Scared he is gonna be GARGANTUAN.
He could gain like a pound a week from now on...
But more importantly he is doing great and healthy!

Kayleb was involved in his first Lord Baden Powell night last week. It is a night to honor the founding father of scouting. His Cub Pack presented an original skit , and Kayleb is seen below with his cub leader presenting him with his first badges. We are so proud of him! He earned his Red Star, Skating Badge and his Swimming Badge. We were working on lots more but were unable to finish due to poor Kayleb being plagued with repeat lung infections. Way to go! Now He and his Dad are working on his CubCar. More pics to come...

Today is "Eve Day"
1 year ago we had found out that our Precious Little Baby had died and I delivered her still, little body... As a family we wanted to do something today in remembrance of our little Evangaline. We got some flowers, balloons and a shovel and headed up to the cemetery. When we arrived we realized it was next to impossible to locate the exact location of her "spot" due to the 3.5 feet of snow, so we will have to wait on the flower part.
We did however write messages to Eve on some beautiful pink balloons to "send to heaven".
Tripp was really excited, but concerned when the balloon did not come back.

Our Forever Family- Luke 32, Summer 31, Kayleb 8 1/2, Thayne 6, Tripp 2 1/2, Evangaline, and Emmett due to arrive in 67 days!
Then we went to have Ice Cream together. Thayne wanted to know if we were going to throw Eve's in the air so it could float up to her to eat.

We love you Eve, and look forward to the time when we can all be together.

We all got totally spoiled this year. As a family

we got a new laptop, Luke got an ipod touch, I got a Cricut,

the boys got lots of awesome games and lots of family dvd's.

Super Sexy Tank Top..

Heparin for a clotting disorder...
As most people I really dislike needles.
So needing to do 2 injections a day from
week 8 of pregnancy till the day before
C-Section is not so pleasant. With 215 done
and 238 injections to go you'd think that I
would be totally used to them by now.
NOT SO! Luke has been a wonderful nurse
as I am to scared to administer said needles myself.
For the first couple months they would leave the
injection site terribly bruised with lumps.
Now not as much severe bruising but the lumps
remain and it hurts like a Banshee when injected.
Maybe I am just a baby, but holy crap!
Then I developed a little heart issue. Racing heart,
so I am currently hooked up to this beauty...
A holter monitor which is left on for 24 hours
to monitor my heart. I have to journal all my
actions during the testing to help they try to
discern what the problem is. The best part besides
the fantastic tape stuck all over my chest ,
the fancy belt unit, and the wires all over is
the Super SEXY mesh "tank top" I get to wear
to hold everything together. I is reminiscent of the
fancy underwear we women get to wear after
we have our babies. Hope to get some
answers after this. the consolation is the
rambunctious little monkey in my tummy
that reminds me what
I am doing all this" stuff" for.
Can't wait to meet this little guy
and reap my rewards :)

Tripp turns 2

Tripp turned 2 last Saturday (Nov 27th),
but we were all sick so we postponed his
party till the next week. Still we were sick.
Almost all the cousins could not come either,
but we figured we better get it done.
He is TOTALLY infatuated with Winnie the Pooh!

So today we had our 19 week Ultrasound.
I was totally worried that our little babe
would not co-operate and we were not going
to be able to determine the gender.
We really wanted to know...

But then the baby got in a more comfortable
position to show it's "stuff". And there was
definatly some "stuff". That's right we are
happy to announce that we are going to be
welcoming a LITTLE BOY in April. Yay! We know
just what to do! We are all excited.
Now to pin down a name...

It has almost been 9 months since we learned that our Sweet Baby Evangaline had passed away. I've been thinking alot about her the last few days. I learned last week that a friend lost her little baby girl too. She was 17 weeks pregnant just like I was. I have been feeling for her and her little family wishing they were not having to experience this, the loss of their much anticipated little one. I have been re-living those first few days in hopes to remember things I learned and that would help her. I feel so blessed for my Wonderful Doctor who was so understanding and compassionate. I am thankful for gentle Nursing Staff who helped during and after delivery. I am thankful for an understanding Funeral Home helper. I am thankful for a Ward Family that pulled together to help with meals and visits and flowers and a beautiful casket. I am thankful for Dear Friends who shared their personal experiences in loss and what helped them. I am thankful for family that sacrificed much to be at our side. I am thankful for my Three Sons who are so innocent and hopeful. And for my Awesome Husband, whom I'm depend on so greatly. And most of all I am thankful for an Eternal Family. Thankful for a kind Heavenly Father who is all knowing. For an older brother, Jesus Christ, our Saviour who provided us a way to return to our Fathers presence and be reunited with our Precious Evangaline one day. And for the glorious gift of the Holy Ghost to be a constant companion and a source of great comfort. While I don't understand all the answers to my "Why" questions I know she is where she needs to be. My heart aches to be near her, but I just have to be patient. Not one of my strong suits. I love you Eve!

The boys went through the bins of costumes today to
try and decide what they wanted to be for Halloween.
I don't think that they have come to a final choice yet.

Luke's Grandma Hatch passed away last month.
We were able to drive down to Az to attent the
funeral services and be with his family.
Luke got a few days off work and we headed down.
It was 37 hours of driving each way.
So 3 days driving, 2 days with family,
then 3 more days driving. Good thing all
our boys are EXCELLENT travelers. We
are so glad we were able to go and see all
Luke's family,
but boy were we TIRED when we got home!

We stopped at Wilson's Arch (Moab Ut.) on the way down
to let the boys out for a little exercise.
Luke hiked to the top with the boys while
I waited at the bottom.

On the way home we stopped to let the boys
out and walk over the bridge at
the Grand Canyon.(Lee's Ferry)
The boys were pretty impressed.

Yesterday we went out to Tachick Lake to celebrate a late Father's Day.
Papa Schumann rented a boat, Uncle Sand brought
his Canoe and we brought our 2 Kayaks. We all had a really fun time and at the end of the day we returned to a Marvelous Mexican feast made by Grandma, Auntie Carlina and Mayson. Mmmmmm. Today we are tired and a little burned, but have loads of Wonderful Memories.

Our KAYLEB has been working really hard and was rewarded with a special SURPRISE at his school assembly yesterday. His teacher nominated him for STUDENT OF THE MONTH! He is reported as being FRIENDLY, RESPECTFUL, and POSITIVE!

The other day we took a load of trash to the dump. The boys love to go check out what is in the Re-Use Shed. This time they scored. We picked up a little battery operated Quad, and it actually works. Free- Ninety-Free. Wahoooo!

Medicine Week

So this week has been cRaZy! On Monday we went to Prince George to have Tripp's hearing tested and finally have another appointment with the ear specialist. He was a gem during the hearing test in which we discovered that he has significant hearing loss. Then we headed over to Dr Filatov's (ENT) He booked us for surgery to put tubes in both of Tripp's little ears. Miraculously he booked us for Friday, 4 DAYS away (most people wait 1 to 2 years). BLESSINGS! Plus as an added bonus the surgery would take place in Vanderhoof. YAY!
We were super excited to finally be getting ear surgery, but one little kink, I was already scheduled to have TOE SURGERY the day before... I was prepped that it would be a horrendous experience like last time. OUCH!!!!!!!! My doctor said that it was not going to be as bad as my last one, but I did not believe her. Thankfully she was right. I was able to get around well enough to help Tripp get to his pre-op and surgery without too much pain.

Tripp was such an AWESOME patient. He was the star of the Hospital. I was able to carry him in to the operating room and stay with him till he fell fast asleep. Then I was waiting for him in the recovery room when he was finished. Much less TRAMATIC than his Eye Surgery experience. He woke up HAPPY!

What a BLESSING to have surgery over and how exciting to see the results as he starts to HEAR the WORLD around him. Thank You to Mom Schumann for helping out so much and all the friends who called and visited us during this CRAZY week.

Getaway...

A little over a week ago Luke surprised me and announced that he was taking me to Vancouver for our 9th Anniversary. It was a last minute Getaway that we both really needed. 48 hours of "Us Time!"

We left home at 3am and started the drive. There was lots of construction so it took lots longer than normal. But we got a little more time to visit right.

Luke was a great sport and drove the entire time since I am chicken and did not want to drive his stick shift car.

We stopped in Hope on our way home and Luke could not resist the opportunity to show the world how well he can make a Sylvester Stallone face.

Thank You so ,much Luke for the perfect Getaway. We got to visit the new Vancouver Temple and even got to attend Jared and Cherise's Wedding. How special. Brought back lots of memories from our ceremony 9 years ago in the Salt Lake Temple.

Forget - Me - Not

Evangaline Hatch
February 12th, 2010
Finally our long awaited test results came back for the baby we lost in February. The first set came a a shock stating that our baby was a chromosomaly fine, but that there had been a mistake in the gender. Out Little Emmet was actually our Little Evangaline. This news took a little while to sink in. We were told that it is a common mistake at Eve's stage of development. But we were still waiting for the Autopsy results to see if there would be anymore finding that may let us know a reason for loosing our precious baby. Our doctor prepared us that most families do not find a specific cause of death. So we hoped we would have a specific answer but tried to prepare ourselves if there was none. After almost 3 months of waiting they finally arrived. We had some questions anwsered like how much she weighed and such. All her systems and parts of her body were normal. The only finding was that the umbilical cord was too long which can cause problems. So our little Eve was perfect in every way and was meant to return to Heaven. We can now look forward to the day when we can meet her and be together forever.

So I had a few pictures left from our trip to Vancouver and a few since we got home. So here goes a Random posting... Kayleb must be part fish cause he is such a good swimmer considering the amount of time us Vanderhoofians actually get to see a pool.

The boys all loved the tunnels we had to travel though on our way home from Vancouver, since they were asleep on the way down, this was especially exciting.

Thayne is getting so brave. I forgot to pack his lifejacket, so he started to learn to swim instead. He is so Brave!

Chinatown

We went to a Chinese Grocery store to check it out. The Boys loved the seafood section. We picked out some fun candies and headed out on our adventure to teh rest of Chinatown.

Vancouver Temple Open House

What a Wonderful Experience!We got to come down to the Vancouver Temple Open House this week.

I guess the Family Home Evening Lesson where we pretended to be on the tour and practiced how to walk and act. The boys did AWESOME!

Kayleb's Favorite part was the Baptismal Font. He said that is because he is super excited to get baptized in July.

Thayne's favorite part was the room with the mirrors that go on and on and on... The Sealing Room.

Tripp loved the part were his jabbers would echo in the rooms with the tall ceilings.

Luke's favorite part was the celestial room because it is beautiful just like his wife. (actual statement) Summer's favorite part was the Brides room and the Celestial room and the Baptistery. Actually all of it cause I got to share it with my little family. Grandam's favorite part was the Beautiful British Columbia Theme throughout, the dogwood, murals,carpet designs, and such.

How great to have grandma here to share this with us.

Such a BEAUTIFUL day. We can't wait to come back again.

"When we're Helping we're Happy..."Saturday we got our Apple Orchard pruned. Everyone worked really hard. Even me, though there are no pictures to prove it since I was the photographer. Kayleb learned how to use the weed-wacker and LOVED it! Thayne loved to use the pruning sheers. Luke loved the chainsaw part. I loved the getting lots done part. And Tripp loved the roaming free part.

Our friends hooked us up with a Killer deal on a Vintage Tent Trailer. We have been wanting something for a few years now and it has just never been in the budget. Luke and I are excited, but the boys... Oh My!!!! They want to sleep in it tonight and they promptly packed out chips, games, dvd player and blankets. They are busy checkin' out every nook and cranny too. Luke did his checking out also. The stove and heater both work. The canvas has all been replaced recently and the mattresses recovered in camo fabric. I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can get in there and do some painting. We are stoked and can't wait to take her out on a maiden voyage. Now to think of a name for her...

First Fire

It is officially Spring here at our house. Almost all the snow is gone and our little spring runoff creek is flowing. Last Saturday we told the boys that if they helped with Spring Clean up inside and out that we would make a fire pit and have dinner outside. It worked! They busted their hump all day and we accomplished all that we needed to. So that evening we roasted smokies, ate our first potato salad of the year and finished up with marshmallows, some perfectly golden brown, others perfectly charred. After all the food was cooked we tried out a "Mystical Fire" packet that turns the flames of your fire different colors. The boys LOVED! We look forward to many more memory making evenings this summer. Thank goodness for a wagon to buckle Tripp into so he would stay safe while we were roasting. Now to get rid of the Croup and ear infections plaguing us this week...

Overwhelmed

So we received a surprise package today...We continue to be overwhelmed by the love and compassion shown to our little family. Upon opening the surprise package we discovered that Luke's cousin, Rana, had asked a close friend of hers for advise. She asked her what had helped when her friend had lost her son to stillbirth. This led to her friend mailing us, complete strangers, a care package. Inside we found a special book, a card, a letter and 4 handmade quilts. 1 for Luke and I, 1 for Kayleb, 1 for Thayne and 1 for Tripp. In her letter she shared some of her experience and that this book really comforts her. She said that she had received a quilt from a family that lost their 4 year old little girl when she drown. This family makes little quits for other families that lose a baby/child. Each quilt is finished off with a little patch that has a picture of their little girl and under it says, " With Love, Friends of Carly". The blankets sent with the hope of lending that extra bit of compassion and comfort in the days ahead. We are so thankful for all the love shown by Family, Friends and Brand New Friends. Thanks Stacie of Arizona!

Our Baby Emmet

3 weeks ago, totally un-expecting, we faced a devastating new reality... Our much anticipated Baby had died.

We have embarked on a very long, hard journey. On Feb 12th, after labour was induced I delivered the precious body of our little boy. We were able to hold and spend time with his tiny body and give him the name of
Emmet Ferris Hatch
We had a graveside service last Wednesday afternoon. Thanks to the blessing of wonderful family and friends the service turned out beautiful. We have faith that we will one day be united as a family with our Emmet. Taking things day by day, sometimes hour by hour, we will in time gain the understanding to soften the sorrow.

Olympic Torch Comes to V-Hoof

So the Olympic Torch came to Vanderhoof this morning. After we saw that our community held a super fun event At the skating rink. Free Skating, Free Chilli lunch, Prizes, and Inflatable Toys. pretty impressive for our little Town. The boys had a blast. It was nice that our little family got a tidbit of enjoyment from all the billions of tax dollars being spent for 2010 Winter Olympics.

Eye Surg

Tripp gets his Eye Surgery to fix a clogged Tear Duct!
Check in at Admitting, then at Day Surgery, Get Gown, Dress in Gown and get Vitals Taken, and then Wait in Crowded Waiting Room with other Patients in their Gowns...
Still happy, waiting...

So waiting for 2 1/2 hours gets really old for a 14 month old who has not eaten for over 20 hours and can't get down and play. Thank Goodness for the Binkie and the Special Blankie from Grandma Hatch. Also I am SOOOO Thankful that Daddy was able to come help. I could not have gone though this Alone. Tripp Required many a Jaunt Up and Down the Hallways to help him Settle Down.

Cute little foot unaware that in a little while it would have to be stuck multiple times to get an IV in.

After a short snooze he is up only to discover that he is still Waiting...

X marks the spot. The nurse came and marked the eye that needed to be worked on. The permanent marker is Slow to come off...

When we finally got into Pre-Op the Anesthesiologist came and discussed what was going to happen. Then a nurse took him around the corner. He let out a squawk and Mom Started to cry with worry for her little boy that was about to be put under...

About 35 mins later the surgeon came out said it all went smooth and that Tripp would be into recovery in a few minutes. In a few minutes we heard a screaming little boy a few rooms away. The Tears started to flow again as we heard Tripp screaming and could not go to him. in a few minutes a nurse came out and got us. They said that Tripp was not impressed when they removed the IV from his foot. He soon settled when we arrived and he had a drink, his, binkie and his blankie.

After about an hour in Recovery Tripp got a Popsicle which he thoroughly enjoyed and we were released. All is well and Tripp is in good form.

Spider Venom

Spider Venom...

So this week has been crazy! I went to the ER (we don't have after hours clinic here)
on Sunday for myself with some blurred vision. All is okay with the baby and me and we got to peek at our baby via a new mini ultrasound machine in the ER.:) Then Sunday night Tripp was a GRIZZLY BEAR all night till her finally fell asleep at 5am. I took him to ER on Monday when his ear exploded with pussy wax. We discovered that his eardrum had burst and has a hole now. Poor little guy. Then Thursday was my first official Prenatal and I was the lucky recipient of Blood work :) I am such a whimp when it comes to needles. Then we found out that Tripp will probably need to get tubes in his ears as well as surgery to open his tear duct. Kayleb had an appointment to get a wart taken care of and our doctor introduced us to SPIDER VENOM. Supposedly is is awesome for taking care of warts and is is relatively painless which Kayleb was relieved about. Plus how cool to be able to tell your friends that you got SPIDER VENOM! Also I got to book my Ultrasound for Feb 25th. Yay! So It has been a crazy busy week but I am thankful for our AWESOME family doctor and the 2 Doctors we saw in the ER! I am just hoping that Tripps 2 surgery's don`t land smack dab during my C-section. Lets all cross our fingers.

Thayne has been so EXCITED for his Birthday. Since last summer he picked his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Theme, he wanted to get Monsters vs Aliens, Chocolate Money, a Ninga Turtle Costume, and eat at Eastside Mario's in PG. He got all of it and Loved all of it. He had me all organized and was planning on making the punch 4 days ahead of time. He was not impressed when I told him we would need to wait. He requested that we call him "Birthday Boy" all week! Happy Birthday our Little Ninja Man!

So we had a big Eye day yesterday. Kayleb and Thayne had their yearly Optometrist appointment. Thayne is fine but Kayleb is the VERY PROUD owner of Glasses. Doesn't he look handsome! Tripp finally got to see the Opthemoligist and he is now on the waiting list for the surgery to open his tear duct. Hope we can say bye-bye to booger eye soon. Poor little man. Big day, lots accomplished.

Tripp, our little Burn Victim!

So we have experienced our share of sickness. Luke and Tripp were both really sick a few weeks ago. Luke had actually been sick for 2 1/2 weeks before he went to the doctor. He was told that he had Swine Flu but that it waws bassically gone and had morphed into a really raunchy sinus infection. Tripp was diagnosed with a terrrible ear infection. They both get meds and supposibly started on the road to recovery. Luke still took what seemed like forever to gett some energy and feel halfway normal. Tripp perked up for a few days but then started his new routine of waking up every 15 mins ALL NIGHT LONG! No Joke! We figured that it could not bee his ears since he had just finished his meds. Also he has 6 teeth all trying to come though at the same time. So we suffered through it for a week and a half till I got fed up and took him into out-patients again. Sure enough a terrible ear infection. So now we are done round two of meds and he is raunchy again. Plus to make things more exciting Tripp touched our wood stove on tues and burned his hand pretty bad. Luckily I had already made an appiontment for this week with his doctor to find out if his ears are still infected . We will get him all better soon I hope. Grrrrrrrrr! We all need SLEEP!

Getting Firewood

So it looks as though we played more than worked but I just could not take as many pictures when we were doing the hard stuff. We are so proud of how hard the two boys worked. Yesterday we told the boys if they worked really hard we would take them for a treat. We held out ALL day, keeping the boys in suspense. We took them to 7-11 and let them pick out 2 treats! They thought they were in heaven . We sat in the van and ate our treats. Then we told them it was time for another treat. They got super excited! We told them that we would go on a little walk first. We crossed the street and walked in from of the theater. Thayne ran towards the posters and freaked when he saw the "wild things " poster. I then asked them where they were going and proceeded to open the door to the theater. They both had totally shocked faces and were truly SURPRISED! ( They had been wanting to see this movie for a long time. We very rarely go to the theater so this was a BIG TREAT!)

Wow, its over already? Halloween was a blast. Carving Pumpkins as a Family, School Parties, Pizza with Friends, Trunk or Treat, Trick or Treating, and The Pumpkin Walk Followed by Fireworks. Good thing we got an extra hour of sleep this morning. (Time Change)

We carved Pumpkins lastnight as a family. Kayleb designed and cut his out all by himself, a very awsome Frankinstin. Thayne drew his on and I helped him cut it out, he named his Knucklehead. Tripp was not too sure about the whole thing at first. Then he tasted some of the inards and decided it was not so weird. He loved it after that. Please forgive me for the AWFULLY dirty window. I have too many helpers.

Kayleb's class had their first skating day of the year. Thayne and Tripp and I went along. Tripp in his stroller and Thayne ALL BY HIMSELF! He had not skated for over a year since last year I was prego and could not take his. He was sooo brave. he did bonk his head on the ice and get an bruise and bump. But he go right back out there. He is doing awsome. Kayleb skates really well too. Tripp enjoyed all teh attention and rides around the ice. Fun was had by all.

I have not made Halloween Cookies for a few years now. My Mother-in-Law gave me the cutest set of cookie cutters a while ago. It has a Frankenstein Head, a Cat, a Bat, and a Pumpkin. I added a Candy Corn and a R.I.P Headstone. I ended up making over 16 dozen!!!!! Some for Kaylebs Class, some for Thayne and Tripps Strong Start, some for Friends, some for Family, some for Visiting teaching, some for Home Teaching, some for the Bus Driver that has turned back to deliver a sleeping Kayleb and helping him when he Puked on the bus in the same week, and a few for our Little Family to eat. So cute, but I am TOTALLY EXHAUSTED!
